　　7. 谓语动词单复数的固定用法

　　（1） a number of + 复数名词

　　表示一些；一般情况下主语为此短语中的“复数名词”部分，所以其后谓语动词用复数；

　　（2）the number of +复数名词

　　表示什么东西的数量；这个短语的主语中心词是“the number”，其后的动词在任何情况下都用单数；当然如果换成“the numbers of+复数名词”的情况，谓语动词用复数。
