　　Local newspapers tend to focus on the news of their local communities. I publish a weekly newspaper in a small town in London, and my news coverage is almost entirely about that small town. In my latest issue, the lead story was about a local municipal government considering changing zoning to accommodate a planned solar electric generating station. Also on the front page, there was a story about the retirement of a local police detective and a story about the local school district‘s property taxes.
